BAT - ON THE REFEREE
- Okay, my face was cut for sharp publications. And why did you "get into trouble"? Were your refereeing in some matches not satisfactory? - I continue the conversation with the famous referee.

"attack" on me is as follows. Friends helped me open my own college
to train talented guys all over Russia. And not only referees,
players too. In general, the range of interests is wide.
Imagine, thereby causing undisguised anger among the so-called
"competitors", elite football schools at that. It seemed that I
did something bad?!
They called, threatened. The underlying reason: if you do not close the college, it will be bad for you.
They even called the boys, their parents. With the demand - to leave
Khusainov right now! Well, sheer banditry. But the parents, the boys themselves did not heed the
threats, and continued their studies at my college. Nobody, imagine,
gave in to the blackmail then!
- And what, have they finally left me alone?
- The criminals did not give in, rare bastards. After another
lesson with the guys, I was returning home, and they almost killed me. Still, their
threats were not mythical, but quite real. Probably, I
underestimated these threats.
I get out of the car in the parking lot, and walk to my entrance. One of the attackers jumps up, hits me with a baseball bat. The second attacker runs up, hits me too.
The third bastard was waiting at the entrance, apparently to finish me off.
I was literally saved by a miracle, by chance. The neighbors were leaving the entrance
to walk the dog. The attackers did not have time to finish me off, got into the car,
and - sped away.
I went to the then police station, filed a report of the attack. After a while,
I received a formal reply: they say that I was attacked by unidentified objects.
Neanderthals, or what? In general, the barely glowing criminal case -
imagine, the case was opened, as in your case - was finally
closed. Frankly, I did not expect any other outcome from our helpless law enforcement officers.
- After the attack, the total threats of reprisals, did you close your college out of harm's way?
- Why on earth?! My assistants and I did nothing bad, except for the
benefit of young football players, future referees. There was no talk of any retreat,
especially not closing the college. In addition to
football skills, boys receive a specialty as a teacher of physical
education and sports.
Let's say the guy doesn't have a career as a football player. But with our
education he will work as a teacher at school, what's wrong?

Well, from children's football to adult, professional. The morals there are even
more severe than in youth football.

In short, you can't do without bribes here, this is an established, unbroken
chain of relationships. A referee starting his career in big football
brings money to the regional authorities. From there, officials send a certain
amount to the center to higher-ranking corrupt officials. Until now, this
chain has been unbroken by anyone!
Then my young colleague, having thus received a "pass" to big
football, "thanks" his the bosses who promoted him.
Of course, the bosses are taking bribes. You can be sure that
a novice football player, or rather a football-related figure, got stuck in a
corruption swamp.

- Exactly. What's so unusual about that? He did not "merge" the teams,
he did not "kill" anyone with unfair refereeing. Yes, open the matches of that
period where I worked, journalists and fans will easily be convinced
