This is already the third contractor for the construction of Bogatyrsky Prospekt who has missed the deadline: most likely, it will not be possible to put the facility into operation this year as planned. Akros CJSC began its work (its founder was businessman Alexander Shinkarenko), but The company was unable to complete them due to financial difficulties. The problems of the Akros company, which abandoned the extension of Korolev Avenue to the comfort-class residential complex Yubileiny Kvartal, led to the fact that about 15 thousand local residents are forced to walk knee-deep in mud and avoid obstacles so as not to damage their cars. In the best case, the new contractor will begin completing the road closer to the summer. Smolny is slowly preparing for the procedure of changing the contractor, who will also have to win the competition and conclude a contract. The Akros company, which was engaged in the continuation of Korolev Avenue, stopped work in the summer of 2014, leaving behind an unfinished building with piles of garbage and dirt.
