A source for the Cheka-OGPU and Rucriminal.info reported that no investigation will be opened into the death of Abakar Darbishev in a police bus on the premises of the Central Administrative District Department of Internal Affairs. The death of a defendant in the case against billionaire Ibragim Suleimanov has been ruled non-criminal. This was announced to the deceased's relatives, but only verbally so far. In reality, they have only received Abakar Darbishev's passport. Neither the death certificate, nor the forensic examination results, nor the body itself have been handed over to them yet.
Darbishev was detained in early October in connection with the high-profile case against billionaire Ibragim Suleimanov and, according to the official version, died in the car with the officers. However, relatives say Darbishev was simply beaten to death during his arrest. The man's body was refused release to his family under the pretext of a "thorough examination," and the true circumstances of his death were carefully concealed.
According to our source, over the past year, Ibragim Suleimanov had several unpleasant conversations with people connected to the FSB's Directorate "M." They demanded that he sell his business, the systems used to purchase airline tickets nationwide, cheaply. Previously, sources reported that Rostec and Sergey Chemezov personally had expressed interest in the business. Currently, all Aviasales and Ozontravel companies use systems controlled by Suleimanov. He refused, and then the problems began...
Abakar Darbishev was the person closest to Suleimanov. They communicated regularly, drank tea together, went for walks, and played sports.
It all happened on October 1st in a house in the village of Skolkovo, in the Odintsovo District.
According to an unofficial version, Darbishev resisted security forces and was beaten. Then the beating continued, to force him to give the necessary testimony against Suleimanov. And so it went on until Abakar died.
