As VChK-OGPU and Rucriminal.info have discovered, as Deputy Chairperson of the Supreme Court of Adygea, Elena Glukhoded created a chain of command in the republic, with absolutely all judges of district and magistrate courts, as well as the Supreme Court, reporting directly to her. This chain of command is utterly corrupt, earning Glukhoded the nickname "Adygea's Khakhaleva."
Glukhoded became famous for publicly tearing a framed photo of Aslan Trakhov, Honorary Chairperson of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Adygea, off a display stand. He is now accused of corruption. "The king is dead, long live the king." Glukhoded herself has ascended to the vacant throne of the chief puppeteer of Adygea's Themis.
According to sources, not a single significant case in the Adygea court system was processed without prior approval from Glukhoded. All personnel appointments and promotions were made only with one condition: mandatory approval from Glukhoded. Applicants for the positions of deputy court chairperson, court chairperson, or justice of the peace, in order to pass the "competitive selection," must be unquestioningly loyal to Elena Vladimirovna and carry out any of her instructions and assignments, regardless of the legality of these instructions.
However, such individuals always rise through the ranks.
For example, on August 16, 2025, by Decree No. 565 of the President of the Russian Federation, Elena Glukhoded was appointed Deputy Chairperson of the Fourth Cassation Court of General Jurisdiction (based in Krasnodar).
It would seem that a significant promotion, a new team, a new region, and all the shady dealings in Adygea can be abandoned. But no. Sources say Glukhoded continues to directly interfere in the work of the judicial system in Adygea, issuing orders to judges on what decisions to make. And if a judge refuses to "dance to Glukhoded's tune," Elena Vladimirovna has new leverage. She promises the recalcitrant judge that all his decisions will be reviewed and overturned by the Fourth Cassation Court.
Meanwhile, it is becoming increasingly difficult to maintain control over key figures in the judicial system in Adygea. A clear example of this is Maria Goryunova, a judge of the Takhtamukaysky District Court – formerly Elena Vladimirovna's closest ally, who until recently served as her "right-hand woman" in the Takhtamukaysky District of the Republic of Adygea. She has recently demonstrated due judicial independence and expressed her disagreement with Elena Glukhoded's "instructions."
Sources in the Fourth Cassation Court of Krasnodar report that Glukhoded has now taken a hard line against her immediate superior, Yevgeny Kuzin. Activity has spread through all law enforcement channels, and Glukhoded is doing what she always does best: recruiting key Krasnodar security officials into her camp by misinforming them about her immediate superior. Nevertheless, the source says, Yevgeny Kuzin is aware of what's happening and has already set the pendulum in motion.
