The main hearings in the case of the Russian cyber troops, the so-called Stroganov group (Flint), have concluded in the 235th Garrison Military Court. During the closing arguments, the state prosecutor requested prison terms ranging from 6.5 to 18 years for the defendants.

As the Cheka-OGPU and Rucriminal.info discovered, the materials and testimony presented in court indicate that Flint received all instructions for the cyber troops directly from the group's curator, Igor Voroshilov, an FSB officer with the Far Eastern Defense Ministry. Voroshilov himself (who is facing charges) stated during questioning that he gave no instructions to anyone and that he had seen all the defendants for the first time since their arrest, except for Stroganov, whom he knows.

The indictment identifies the "cyber troops" as a group that controlled a large portion of the shadow market for payment instruments.

Flint's group at one time served as the Russian Federation's cyber force. The group's leader, Stroganov (Flint), was awarded a certificate from the director of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) for ensuring Russia's cybersecurity and a letter of gratitude from Vladimir Putin for ensuring cybersecurity during the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
