Readers of the VChK-OGPU and Rucriminal.info have a unique opportunity to see a photo of Denis Obrezko, a hacker working for the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB), taken in Thailand the day before his arrest at the request of the US FBI. He was wearing the same shorts when he was handcuffed. Obrezko arrived in the Kingdom from China, and his movements were monitored by US intelligence agencies. According to the FBI, Obrezko "hacked security systems and attacked government institutions in Europe and the US." VChK-OGPU sources believe Obrezko may agree to voluntary extradition to the US, without a court hearing. In the US, he could reveal a wealth of interesting information not only about the Kremlin's hacking activities but also about the Kremlin's work on Telegram. Recently, Obrezko served as the right-hand man of Mikhail Dudin, then head of the Department of Domestic Policy of the Presidential Administration (he was seconded from the FSB), whom we recently covered in detail. The latter "gained notoriety" for his electronic warfare against Navalny's team, after which he was sent to the Russian Presidential Administration for his success. One of Dudin's activities was to co-opt Telegram channels to the Kremlin's liking (and sometimes to that of his friend Vasily Brovko), while Obrezko performed the necessary technical work, including dealing with the owners and administrators. Along the way, there was also "looting." The team sometimes kept the channels they seized for themselves. Therefore, if Obrezko speaks up, it will be very, very interesting.
