Not everyone's trip to Jerusalem for the Holy Fire was in vain. While former Children's Rights Commissioner Pavel Astakhov failed to secure a pardon for his son Anton, Moscow City Duma Deputy Sabina Tsvetkova had a successful trip. Her trip contributed to the resolution of the issue of pardoning her husband, the former head of "Officers of Russia," Anton Tsvetkov.
Anton Tsvetkov spent his turbulent times in the criminal organization "Bars Kursk," and after reaching a pardon agreement, he ran for the State Duma. According to a source at the Cheka-OGPU and Rucriminal.info, Tsvetkov is making "Napoleonic plans" to head the Committee on Security and Anti-Corruption in the new State Duma, displacing Piskarev, or at least becoming deputy chairman of the committee.
As a reminder, Tsvetkov left Officers of Russia because he had turned the organization into a personal business empire. He then served in the Public Chamber and is currently a member of the public council at the Ministry of Defense (since Shoigu's time in office). When things got tough, he urgently went to the North Military District, to the criminal underworld "Bars Kursk." From there, he successfully secured a job for his wife, Sabina, in the Moscow City Duma, and after serving his term, he is running for the State Duma.
