A source for the Cheka-OGPU and Rucriminal.info reported that Vladimir Putin's family has not appeared at their Valdai residence since December 29, when there was an alleged drone attack. The Kremlin, however, effectively admitted that the attack on the "main facility" was masqueraded as a routine drone attack on the region, and therefore removed the topic from the agenda of discussions with the US. It is only being used within Russia.
According to the source, events unfolded as follows. During the night, an alarm and an order to prepare for evacuation sounded not only at the depot where the presidential armored train is usually kept (as previously reported by the Cheka-OGPU and Rucriminal.info), but also at the residence itself, where Alina Kabaeva and her children were at the time. The all-clear was given almost immediately, but it became clear that Putin would be questioning the nature of the attack in the morning. Then, a theory was quickly concocted about a repelled attack on the residence itself. This report was beneficial to Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov, who shortly before reported to Putin that Kupyansk had been completely captured, a falsehood. Now, it appears, he has defended the residence.
As our project previously reported, monitoring channels and the Novgorod Region task force recorded 18 UAVs that were shot down immediately upon entering the region—extremely far from the residence. Typically, drones attack JSC Akron, weapons depots, and other military installations in the region. However, the Ministry of Defense later "clarified" the information, claiming that there were actually 41 UAVs, 23 of which were shot down as they approached the residence. However, such a discrepancy is simply impossible. No objective data confirmed that these 23 UAVs actually existed.
This was, in fact, quickly pointed out in the US, whose monitoring did not record any UAV downings near the residence.
According to the source, the Kremlin unofficially acknowledged that, for some reason, a routine attack on the Novgorod region was mistakenly considered a threat to the residence. And the issue is no longer being raised with the US. In Russia, however, this fact was concealed behind convoluted language, something along the lines of changing the "security procedures" for the president's facilities.
Despite this, the source says, Putin's family has not visited the Valdai residence since, even though it was, in fact, the primary residence of Alina Kabaeva and her children.
экстренно подняли, всем была дана команда приготовиться к эвакуации, но она так и не состоялась. Через некоторое время персоналу сообщили об отмене тревоги без объяснения причин.
