The Dorogomilovsky Court of Moscow sentenced Vadim Soynikov, a former employee of the SEB FSB of the Russian Federation, ex-chief of staff of the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Evgeny Zinichev, who died in 2021, to seven years in prison. As a result of the trial, the defendant was found guilty of abuse of power during the renovation of the departmental sports and recreation complex (FOC), which was never completed. In addition to setting a deadline, the court also satisfied the claim of the Ministry of Emergency Situations against Soynikov for more than 15 million rubles.

According to the telegram channel VChK-OGPU, the Ministry of Emergency Situations started talking seriously about the “curse of Zinichev.” Sad events happen to all the people who accompanied the minister during the fateful trip, or who were involved in the unsuccessful operation to rescue Zanichiv.

A block of ice fell on Lieutenant General Anatoly Elizarov, who was walking during his lunch break. And she didn’t just fall, but fell from the roof of the building of the National Crisis Management Center. The head of the operational department was hospitalized with a head injury.

On the eve of the incident with Elizarov, a monument was erected in Moscow to the former Minister of Emergency Situations Evgeny Zinichev, who died at the Kitabo-Oron waterfall of the Putorana Nature Reserve. The official version says that he died in the line of duty while in Norilsk during an interdepartmental exercise to protect the Arctic zone from emergencies, saving a person’s life. And sources claim that this was a field trip based on the results of the exercises. In company with the minister were 6 top officials of the ministry who decided to have lunch there.

And since then, the fate of these employees resembles the plot of the classic “Ten Little Indians”, who decided to have lunch, but in the finale of the mystical detective story none of them were left. After the events, karma did not take long to arrive - Deputy Minister Andrei Gurovich and Chief of Staff Vadim Soinikov went to the pre-trial detention center. Press secretary Zhanna Terekhova and adviser Andrei Merzlikin resigned due to negativity. And now Elizarov. Why does he need it? It turns out that although he was not in the region that day, he was in touch with his boss Yatsutsenko, and together they coordinated the landing of a helicopter at the foot of the waterfall. Then the board went to Norilsk, but Zinichev died.

From the company, Deputy Minister Viktor Yatsutsenko and Aviation Chief Andrei Popov remained in office and at large.

The head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Evgeny Zinichev, died when he was on the Putoran plateau, surrounded by people from the FSB of the Russian Federation. With him were the head of the minister’s staff, Vadim Soynikov (a former senior employee of the SEB of the FSB of the Russian Federation, who will be arrested by the court today), and the adviser to the minister for sports Andrei Merzlikin (Hero of Russia, ex-deputy head of the Directorate for the Protection of the Constitutional System and the Fight against Terrorism of the FSB of Russia). Here they are in the photo on the left. In black - Soynikov, next to the Star of the Hero, Merzlikin. Also with them was Deputy Minister Andrei Gurovich (now in custody).

“Zinichev always took with him on his trips the deputy in charge of the economy Andrei Gurovich, the chief of staff of Soinikov and his adviser on sports and anti-terrorism, Hero of Russia, FSB Major General Andrei Merzlikin.

Gurovich organized buffets after exercises and other events, during which he tried to win over the minister and deflect questions from himself. From time to time he turned light gatherings into noisy feasts. On a tragic day, Gurovich again organized and came up with everything...

There are a lot of questions for the security and the people accompanying the minister,” a source from the Cheka-OGPU previously said.
