A source for the Cheka-OGPU and Rucriminal.info reported that regional police officers have been effectively handed over to local authorities. Now, to prevent them from quitting (the Ministry of Internal Affairs is experiencing a catastrophic staffing shortage), governors and mayors will pay bonuses to police officers. And, as the saying goes, "he who buys the girl dinner, gets to dance with her."

The "experiment" has already been launched in Crimea. There, they have introduced bonuses for patrol officers, transport workers, and district police officers deployed in resort areas. Now, other regions are planning to follow suit and pay salaries, as the Ministry of Internal Affairs is unable to do so.

According to sources, St. Petersburg could be next. In addition to their current salaries, bonuses are expected for duty officers of up to 40,000 rubles; for district police officers, patrol officers, and operational officers, up to 50,000 rubles; for escorts, 30,000 rubles, etc. Moscow is expected to receive the largest bonus – 70,000 rubles.

As a reminder, the Moscow mayor has already created his own private military company, the so-called "Metropolitan" Security Service, whose soldiers are trained and armed with the latest technology from the Russian National Guard (including armored vehicles). Enormous sums from the city budget are being poured into the PMC, and Sergei Sobyanin personally controls the organization. Now he will also have an "army" of police officers paid for and controlled by Moscow. Other regions are not going to be left behind.
