The VChK-OGPU and Rucriminal.info have learned the identity of the man who blew himself up along with traffic police officers in Moscow. He is a serviceman, which is why the identity of the deceased was kept so secret.
According to our project, Sergei Molchanov lived in Mozhga and was called up for military service about three years ago. His unit was stationed in the Udmurt Republic. Six months later, he signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense and eventually moved to St. Petersburg. In January, he hosted relatives in a rented apartment in St. Petersburg and told them about his military service.
Molchanov last visited his native Mozhga in November. Sergei and his brothers were replacing the roof of their mother's house. Sergei confided that he was serving in a military warehouse. He returned that same month. In early January, relatives from Mozhga returned to St. Petersburg: Sergei's mother, his nephew, and his brother's mother-in-law. They met one day—on a weekend—visited Sergei's apartment, and then left. Today, FSB officers raided the family home in Mozhga, confiscated all their equipment, and took both of Sergei's brothers to Izhevsk.
