"We still need to find out where they are now." This is what a major oligarch close to the Kremlin recently said about Arkady and Boris Rotenberg in a private conversation, according to a source at the Cheka-OGPU and Rucriminal.info. This statement stems from the fact that Arkady Rotenberg has been completely absent from all communication for over a month. "Arkady and Boris don't show up in their offices at 71 Sadovnicheskaya Street. Moreover, absolutely no one can speak to Arkady, even by phone. Of course, it was difficult to talk to him before, but his inner circle did it for certain issues. Now, absolutely no one can talk to him. No one knows where he is. As for Boris, as far as I know, he was in Dubai for a while, but then, apparently, he left. Where he went is unknown. "Nobody in Russia has seen him for a while either," our source said. "Of course, I don't think they've decided to flee Russia forever. But it's safe to say their empire is over. Absolutely everything has collapsed there, across the board."

The source noted that, in addition to the aforementioned arrested top managers of Arkady Rotenberg (Konstantin Makhov, Stanislav Multakh), it also happened that Ilya Traber (Antikvar), who was also arrested, is extremely close to the oligarch. "At the port, Rotenberg relied solely on Traber's influence and experience. Without him, he can't do anything there," the source noted.

According to him, the Rotenbergs' structures, which are involved in road construction and working on contracts with Russian Railways, are now in "total disaster." "The Rotenbergs' structures have huge debts to contractors, and wage arrears are also snowballing." As far as I know, both Russian Railways and road construction recently announced that they shouldn't expect funding before the end of the year. However, where they'll get it by the end of the year is also unclear. And what does this mean? All work will come to a standstill, and contractors will start going bankrupt one after another and closing down."

The source believes that the Rotenbergs will soon begin losing every piece of their former "empire," since the oligarchs lack the resources and influence to maintain it (Putin has stopped communicating with Arkady Rotenberg).

"Their road construction projects could go to Khusnullin (Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin – ED.). That's how it was all set up. Rotenberg's protégés occupied the top positions in all relevant government agencies. They served his interests. And Khusnullin's protégés held the "second positions." The latter's road construction empire is doing well and can easily handle the volumes of Rotenberg's structures."

As our project previously reported, recently all assets (companies, equipment, etc.) worth billions of rubles seized in the "road case" in Krasnodar Krai were transferred to Khusnullin's structures, which, apparently, without Rotenberg's structures, will be implementing the Dzhubga-Sochi transport artery project, worth a total of approximately 3 trillion rubles.

"Everything else will also quickly go to other oligarchs. Some to Bokarev and Makhmudov, some to the Kovalchuks. And the Rotenbergs, apparently, will only be left to manage their sports projects," our source believes.
