As VChK-OGPU and Rucriminal.info discovered, State Duma Deputy Alexandra Remezkov, who is under US and EU sanctions, still owns luxury real estate in Europe. It was simply transferred to offshore companies controlled by the parliamentarian's family members and trusted associates. As it turns out, this sanctions-evasion scheme is quite successful.
More than 10 years ago, Remezkov's construction empire made millions by scamming approximately 400 families in the Krasnodar Krai: firms belonging to the parliamentarians' relatives deceived them, assuring them that their forest plots would be rezoned for individual housing construction. Many sold their apartments in the north, hoping to achieve their dream of owning a house by the sea, but ended up homeless. A criminal case was opened, but investigators "found" no culprits—the Remezkov family faced no punishment, their firms are still operating in Kuban, and the proceeds from the scam allowed them to acquire luxury real estate in Austria.
It is known that the Remezkov family owned three properties in Vienna at the outbreak of the war. The first, an apartment in a historic building opposite the Vienna State Opera, is registered to 55-year-old Evgenia Remezkova, the deputy's ex-wife. The second property, an office space across the street from the famous Hochstralbrunnen fountain, is registered to Maria Remezkova, his daughter. The third property is owned by the Cypriot offshore company Woodbree Investments Limited. The deputy's two sons, Nikolai and Stepan, are registered at this apartment. This Cypriot company is part of a vast network of foreign legal entities controlled by the same nominees who ran the offshore companies of the Magomedov brothers and Telman Ismailov.

According to the Cypriot registry, Stepan Savinovsky is the director of Woodbree. At various times, he held management positions in approximately 15 companies. This is too limited for a typical Cypriot nominee manager—they typically appear in hundreds of companies. Here, however, it seems more like servicing a specific, narrow circle of clients.
Savinovsky was the director of BARONETTA INVESTMENTS LIMITED (owned by the Magomedov brothers), COLGIN PROPERTIES LTD (controlled by Daniyal Magomedov, Ziyavudin Magomedov's eldest son), XARTI TRADING LTD (associated with Anna Vyazovetskaya, who also managed the Cypriot Mianello Limited, through which Gutseriev's Safmar group owned M.Video), and KYPRIKA LTD (the secretary company of NOVOPORT HOLDING LTD, which was equally owned by the Magomedov brothers and Transneft), as well as KAGERA LTD, where Irina Bichinashvili, who is associated with the Weinsteins' companies, served as secretary.

And in two offshore companies where Savinovsky served as secretary—CHRYSANTONIO COMMERCIAL LIMITED and GRAND DUKE'S FIELD INVESTMENTS LIMITED, both liquidated on September 24, 2025—Lyubov Chemezova served as director. Incredibly, Chemezova is also the first wife of Sergei Chemezov, the head of Rostec. Lyubov Chemezova's offshore company owned 23% of the shares in the Russian OJSC Brigantina, which was merged with Iskozh JSC, which owned approximately 10 hectares of land on Vitebskaya Street in Moscow. A fierce battle unfolded around this asset in the 2000s and 2010s: businessman Vladimir Slutsker and his Finvest company intended to build a large residential complex there, but as a result of a series of lawsuits, assassination attempts, and three murders, Iskozh ended up in the assets of the very same Magomedov brothers. Incidentally, Slutsker's success in the 2000s was attributed to an unknown "roof" at the very top, with Viktor Zolotov being one possible candidate.
Among the Cypriot companies linked to Savinovsky is Qubelini Management Ltd. Qubelini and Woodbree (which owns the Remezkov Jr. apartment in Austria) share a director, Estonian citizen Toomas Truuvert, and are registered at the same address.

The offshore company Qubelini Management Ltd is another front for concealing foreign real estate. In 2017, it acquired a stake in the Austrian company Coburgbastei 3 Immobilienverwertungsgesellschaft mbH. The company's name directly refers to a specific property located at Coburgbastei 3 in Vienna, and the name itself indicates that the company was created for the operation, management, and commercial use of the property. This property is a luxurious mansion in the historic center of Vienna, which houses the Marriott Hotel.
In 2017, Nikolai Remezkov, the deputy's son, joined the Austrian firm's management team along with Qubelini Management Ltd. He served as CEO for about a year. Currently, the Remezkovs' Cypriot offshore company owns 70% of Coburgbastei 3 Immobilienverwertungsgesellschaft mbH.
Deputy Alexander Remezkov is subject to sanctions by the US, EU, UK, Canada, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Ukraine. These sanctions do not apply to his family.
