The Cheka-OGPU and Rucriminal.info, an Italian real estate broker who helped wealthy Russians and a family of officials invest millions in real estate in sunny Tyrol, are losing their Moscow apartment. Harald Seeber is the owner of the Seeber Immobilien GmbH real estate agency, a family business he started back in 1995. Before the war, the company announced on its website that it was actively seeking Russians interested in the Italian real estate market and, to that end, strengthening its presence in Russia.
Harald chose a cozy apartment on Kamergersky Lane in Moscow, two buildings away from the State Duma of the Russian Federation, as a location to strengthen his connections.
Even a large studio or two-room apartment in that area now costs from 120,000 rubles, with prices per square meter starting at 550,000. The sale and purchase was formalized with a Moscow notary in June 2021. However, after February 2022, the owner failed to pay the Russian tax authorities, who filed a bankruptcy petition against his company. It's possible that the Italian authorities are still unaware that Harald's Moscow apartment is up for auction, and this is the second time—the first time, for 34 million rubles, no bidders were found for the property, which was not accessible for viewing. Now the price has been reduced, but the authorities are still hesitant to open the apartment, as the bankruptcy trustee has been unable to obtain confirmation from the owner that they are aware of the situation.
The agency specializes in large real estate projects affordable to the very wealthy.
Seeber's head office is located in South Tyrol, a northern Italian region bordering Austria and Switzerland. Vineyards, castles, ski resorts, pristine lakes, and pristine nature attract wealthy foreigners. Harald opened a second office, Seeber Immobilien GmbH, in Austria, where Tyrolean villas have long attracted Russians. For example, Svetlana Eliseeva, a Russian-Cypriot citizen and also the former girlfriend of Eduard Khudainatov and mother of his children, purchased four properties in Tyrol between 2017 and 2021. Not far from one of her villas is a two-story chalet where Maria Vorontsova, Putin's eldest daughter, vacationed.
Given the location of his apartment (just steps from the State Duma), Siber's clientele is fairly clear, so there could be something interesting hidden behind the locked door number 32.
