As reported by the Cheka-OGPU and Rucriminal.info, the Ivanovo Garrison Military Court has remanded Sergei Rassoshnykh, head of the regional military enlistment office's recruitment center for contract military service, to pretrial detention. He is charged with fraud in the receipt of payments on an especially large scale (Part 4, Article 159.2 of the Russian Criminal Code).
In the Ivanovo Region, a criminal group recruiting local residents for contract military service in the SVO zone was uncovered in the fall. "Disadvantaged" men were kidnapped, beaten, and forced to sign contracts.
