There are people whose biographies read like the script of a spy thriller. One such character is Yuri Sergeyevich Potocki. He once found himself at the center of several high-profile investigations into major smuggling channels: the smuggling case at the Cherkizovsky Market and the Tri Kita shopping center. Potocki was even detained by the FSB in connection with the Rosmuravia case. But the detention, according to a source, resulted in Potocki receiving a new and reliable "roof" – the FSB. Today, Potocki lives a luxurious life on the Spanish coast in Marbella. He owns dozens of luxury properties, each villa priced between 15 and 28 million euros. Most of the villas are rented out. He is a Gibraltar tax resident and pays approximately £412,000 per year to the UK budget.

According to a source at the Cheka-OGPU and Rucriminal.info, Pototsky is currently actively developing the ESTA EXPRESS project and is about to receive an "exclusive" permit from the Federal Customs Service to build warehouses in Russia with free zone status. This ensures that all Alibaba goods are stored in a customs warehouse in Russia, cleared quickly, and then delivered within 2-3 days by Russian Post.

According to the source, Pototsky has another source of income: well-established legal raiding schemes. He has a partner in this business, Igor Chaika.

And their connection extends beyond raiding.

Since the Chaika family is under sanctions, while Pototsky is not, he is the one handling Igor Chaika's projects outside of Russia. Pototsky manages real estate projects for Chaika in Portugal, develops a parking search app in Spain, and so on and so forth.
